Cello is the crucial part of From Ashes. Spending two weeks in the studio perfecting the tone and months and months rehearsing the songs at home, Arttu is hailed by others. He has developed peculiar way of playing the instrument making it fit the music perfectly.

Joonas is a talented player and a brilliant composer for various projects outside From Ashes. He has also experienced technician and is responsible for a few of our demos and the website.

Wille is the man behind the crime. He has composed the songs and written the lyrics. His ambitions towards classical choral music are heard at the times in the music of From Ashes.

From Ashes had urgent need for bassist and Minttu was asked to join the band in the Fall '02. Once in a while she has come with ideas for the arrangements. Her work can be heard most notably in the song I am a Warrior.

In January 2007 we announced we're seeking for a drummer. After rehearsing with a few candidates, Otto contacted us and told he has listened instensively to our demos years ago. He proved himself to be a real talented death metal drummer and his talents will add a whole new dimension to the music of From Ashes.

Dani has always had the beat in his blood and he rehearsed a lot to play professionally. He decided to leave the band in 2006 because not feeling to play extreme metal anymore. We still miss his lively humor and professional working morale.

Essi was asked to replace Wille as the growler. She was given a warm welcome by the band and the fans due her unique voice and stage performance. Unfotunately, in 2007 she asked to leave the band due the lack of motivation. After that, Wille decided to begin singing again.
